DJ Masterclass - Senior

DJing & Music Production: From Fundamentals to Performance I would propose a hands-on workshop introducing students to the fundamentals of DJing, music mixing, and music production. Students would learn how to use DJ equipment and software, understand beats and musical phrasing, develop beatmatching and mixing techniques, curate music, and construct cohesive DJ sets. The workshop would emphasize practical learning through live demonstrations, guided exercises, and individual practice. Students would also explore music selection, transitions, set preparation, stage presence, and the development of their own musical style. For students interested in music production, the course could introduce the fundamentals of digital audio workstations, beat creation, arrangement, sampling, and basic track production. The program could be adapted for junior and senior students, allowing participants to build their skills at an appropriate pace and work toward performing a short DJ set of their own.
